The building on the right is Figueroa, where I live. My window is the one right in the middle of the right-hand section of wall (it has a yellow awning). There are 18 buildings like mine in Manzanita Village. The big dirt area in the middle is part of the landscaping that hasn't been completed yet, although you can see some plants are starting to come up. (These dorms were finished just in time for the beginning of school this year.) The pond in the foreground is also part of that; the quad between the buildings is going to be regrown to the kind of natural habitat it was before the construction. The pond is already full of frogs.
