Asbury Park is a town in New Jersey that used to be a lively seaside resort, with rides, a concert hall, a casino, and other big-time amusements. Race riots in the early 1970s scared off most of the wealthy residents and pleasure-seekers, and the town is now largely abandoned. I've taken some pictures of the area near the boardwalk, which was formerly a major destination for weekenders from New York as well as people from the local Jersey Shore area.
